Residency Intensives

Windhover 2025

Week 1: June 23 – June 30
Week 2: June 30 – July 7

Tablao Immersion

This residency intensive is designed for dancers, guitarists, and singers eager to deepen their improvisational skills and performance in the tablao style.

Artists may choose from one of two available weeks to attend, with a maximum of 10 participants per week – ensuring an intimate and focused experience. Due to the limited number of spaces, we strongly encourage you to carefully review the Criteria for Participation before submitting a Request For Participation form.

Creative Immersion

United Flamenco is excited to announce its inaugural Creative Immersion Residency, designed to support flamenco artists in developing and performing original works.

This residency offers artists a vital opportunity to explore and innovate within the flamenco tradition while nurturing their unique creative voice.

Two artists will be selected for individual one-week residencies at Windhover Center for the Performing Arts. Each artist will receive mentorship and support before, during, and after their residency. To culminate each week, the artist will present two public performances on Windhover’s outdoor stage, sharing the bill with United Flamenco Tablao Immersion artists. We encourage dancers, guitarists, and singers to consider this opportunity.

Selected artists may indicate their preference between the two available residency weeks. The preparation period runs from April through June 2025, with the residencies taking place in June/July 2025. Post-residency support will be provided following program completion.

United Flamenco will provide selected artists with housing and studio space at Windhover Center for the Performing Arts, professional mentorship, performances with production support as well as a $250 honorarium.

Artists are responsible for their personal expenses including travel, meals, supplies, and any costs associated with bringing necessary collaborators. Applicants want to consider these costs when applying.
