These dynamic group sessions offer you the unique opportunity to deepen essential elements in a setting that fosters real-time learning and interaction. Through instant practice and direct mentorship from seasoned professionals, you’ll gain insights and skills that simply can’t be replicated in a solo practice or online. Truly interact with cante, baile, and toque, collaborate, and elevate your overall flamenco artistry. Be part of a community, working side by side with fellow artists in a supportive, real-world setting.
To ensure a consistent and strong foundation across all participants, this course is open exclusively to those who have completed or are currently enrolled in the ‘Flamenco Guide‘ online. If you have taken Comprehensive Flamenco Studies (CFS) as part of flamencoMAPS programming, this class requirement is considered fulfilled.

Full Day On-Site Workshops
Morning: Groundwork
Through collective exploration and hands-on practice, we’ll unravel the complexities of flamenco language and structures, rules of interaction and expression.
Key Features:
- Strengthen Your Foundation: Deepen your understanding and practice of compás, palmas, jaleos, rhythmic structures, and the language of cante, guitar, and baile.
- Practical Application: Gain the tools to elevate your artistry and navigate the complexities of the art form.
- Collaborative Exploration: Work with fellow flamenco artists to enhance your skills and understanding.
Afternoon: The Tablao Guide
This immersive workshop is designed to equip you with the essential tools to speak the flamenco language fluently in a cuadro, a tablao and beyond.
Key Features:
- Master the Flamenco Language: Learn to speak the flamenco language fluently, enabling you to navigate any flamenco setting.
- Core Elements of Expression: Explore the essential characteristics that define authentic flamenco performance.
- Focus on Interaction and Improvisation: Develop your ability to respond instinctively to musical cues and create spontaneous flamenco moments.
- Collaborative Exploration: Work with fellow flamenco artists and immediately apply newly acquired tools and enhance your ability to navigate the complexities of the art form in a real tablao environment.

THE FLAMENCO GUIDE is the entry point for all students to all United Flamenco programming (except Flamenco Principles). It can be taken on its own or alongside other United Flamenco offerings.
YOUR FLAMENCO PATHWAY provides a free 30 minute consultation for those seeking personalized guidance. We encourage anyone interested in our programming to book a time with us.
