Through instant practice and direct mentorship from seasoned professionals, you’ll gain insights and skills that simply can’t be replicated in a solo practice or online. To ensure a consistent and strong foundation across all participants, this course is open exclusively to those who have completed or are currently enrolled in the ‘Flamenco Guide‘ online. If you have taken Comprehensive Flamenco Studies (CFS) as part of flamencoMAPS programming, this class requirement is considered fulfilled.

Full Day On-Site Workshops
Morning: Groundwork
Through collective exploration and hands-on practice, we’ll unravel the complexities of flamenco language and structures, rules of interaction and expression.

- Strengthen Your Foundation: Deepen your understanding and practice of compás, palmas, jaleos, rhythmic structures, and the language of cante, guitar, and baile.

Afternoon: The Tablao Guide
This immersive workshop is designed to equip you with the essential tools to speak the flamenco language fluently in a cuadro, a tablao and beyond.

- Master the Flamenco Language: Learn to speak the flamenco language fluently, enabling you to navigate any flamenco setting.
- Core Elements of Expression: Explore the essential characteristics that define authentic flamenco performance.
